Bella — Adoptable Super Dog!
Some dogs walk into a room and instantly change the energy.
Bella is one of those dogs.
This February, we’re honored to feature Bella as our Peony Celeste Dog of the Month—an affectionate, intelligent, and truly special pup who is currently available for adoption and ready to become someone’s forever best friend.
Bella is a 10 months old shepherd mix who is not only gorgeous on the outside, but emotionally intuitive and incredibly well-mannered. She recently completed professional training with @easydayk9academy, where she thrived under structure and positive reinforcement. Her training was generously sponsored by her rescue, ItsYogisHouse, along with her amazing foster family, cottonthemountaindog.

Bella’s foster mom Vanessa—founder of Dogs Only Social Club —shared a few things that perfectly capture Bella’s personality:

Kid-friendly superstar: Bella does not resource guard

Fun fact: Bella got our resident “grandma” dog—who never plays with other dogs—to play within one hour of meeting her.
That kind of emotional intelligence is rare. Bella reads other dogs beautifully and brings out joy without crossing boundaries.
🐾 Bella’s Journey
Bella was saved from the euthanasia list at Baldwin Park shelter. When her original rescue situation fell through, her foster family and community stepped up to ensure she wouldn’t be overlooked. Thanks to patience, training, and a lot of love, Bella is now thriving—and just waiting for the final piece of her story: a forever home.

February 7 — Love Is in the Fur: Valentine’s Dog Event (OC)
We’ll be joining our new friends in Orange County, led by Lia Muñoz of Bark Art, a brand-new dog club in the OC community.
This Valentine’s-themed event is all about creativity, connection, and celebrating pups—because every dog deserves a Valentine. We’re so excited to meet new faces, wag some tails, and spread the Peony Celeste love in OC!

Of course, we wouldn’t miss our number one and only dog social club event!
We’re teaming up once again with Dogs Only Social Club and our friends at Boichik Bagels for a relaxed, dog-friendly morning filled with bagels, matcha, and pups—the perfect excuse to slow down, hang out, and connect with fellow dog lovers.
Bring your dog (and your dog-loving friends!) and settle in for good vibes, cozy energy, and plenty of wagging tails. This one’s all about community, easy conversations, and dogs right by your side.

We’re excited to be joining our friend, DOSC team, to celebrate Lunar New Year with a festive dog walk through Chinatown and LA State Historic Park.
We’ll be rolling deep with fellow dog lovers for a joyful, community-led walk—perfect for celebrating new beginnings, good fortune, and pups by your side 🐶✨
