Every dog has a way of finding the people they’re meant for. Sometimes it’s after months of searching. Sometimes it’s completely unexpected. But when it happens, life quietly shifts.

For this Ambassador Spotlight, we’re introducing Goldie and Mochi, two pups whose journey into their family’s life began with chance encounters that quickly became lifelong bonds. From the moment they arrived, they brought a kind of love that asks for nothing yet gives everything. Through everyday routines, playful paw taps, and countless cuddles, they’ve become a reminder that the strongest connections are often built in the smallest moments.

We connected with their humans to talk about finding “the one,” life with two incredible dogs, and why the little things, from quality walks to products you can trust, make all the difference. Their story is simple, honest, and full of the kind of love every dog parent knows by heart.

How did you meet Goldie and Mochi?
Goldie was through a craigslist ad, after months of searching for a pet we had given up. They didn’t feel like the one, but once Goldie popped up our worlds stopped for a moment and that’s when we knew she was the one. We saw Mochi on the way to petco go get goldies nails cut, n we saw her in her adoption pen and knew we had to take her.

What does “bonding” mean to you in your relationship with Goldie and Mochi?
Bonding means lots of cuddles and pets for goldie n mochi, a specific moment is when they beg to play or to eat by tapping their paws on us, it just shows theres no barrier to communication.

How has your life with Goldie and Mochi influenced what a meaningful life looks like for you?
Goldie n mochi has made such a positive influence in our life because they provide nothing but unconditional love and trust

How do quality poop bags affect your daily walks with Goldie and Mochi?
Quality poop bags help alot with keeping the smell secure and sidewalks clean, especially for girls who have nails! There so many other brands out there that are thin or somewhat in the middle of thin/thick and our nails just pierce through the bag!

Why does supporting a local, small, woman-owned business matter to you on a personal level?

We love Peony Celeste! Not just because we’re brand ambassadors but as raising Goldie and Mochi, we have tried so many other brands and they do not compete with Peony Celeste. We love the dedication and commitment that Misa puts into her products as if everyone else’s pets are her own.

The Ambassador Portrait Project

This little project is my way of saying thank you to our incredible brand ambassadors and the humans who love them.

Every dog has a story. Some have helped their families through life’s hardest moments. Others have inspired new adventures, brought laughter back into a home, or simply made every day brighter. Those stories are the heart of Peony Celeste.

When I photograph your dog, I do my best to capture more than just how they look. I hope to preserve their personality, their spirit, and the little expressions that make them uniquely yours.

I truly believe these portraits are one of the most meaningful gifts I can give to our ambassadors. It’s my way of celebrating the bond you share and thanking you for being part of this community.
