Happy New Year to Our Peony Celeste Family ✨

As we step into a brand-new year, we want to start with gratitude — for our community, our pups, and the moments (big and small) that bring us together. January is about intention, fresh energy, and celebrating the hearts behind the leash.


And of course… this month belongs to Wrigley 🐶✨

Our Co-Founder, Our Heart, Our Pinecone Queen

 

If you’ve been part of Peony Celeste for a while, you already know her.

If you’re new — meet Wrigley, our co-founder, CEO Pup, and the soul behind everything we do.

Wrigley was adopted in 2017 from Fontana, California, and from that day on, she became Misa’s everything. She has an incredible ability to understand her human — always finding ways to impress, connect, and communicate in her own clever way.


Some of Wrigley’s favorite tricks include:

  • Cleaning up her toys

  • Saying “I love you”

  • Playing hide and seek

 

Her favorite game of all time?

Fetching pinecones 🌲

Yes — Google says pinecones are toxic for dogs.

Yes — Wrigley is highly obsessed with them anyway.


To keep her safe (and sane), Misa and Kevin tuck pinecones inside a fetch ball so she can chase her beloved treasure without actually chewing it. Commitment looks different for every pup — this is Wrigley’s version.


While she’s not a big cuddler, Wrigley does have standards. Every single night, she commands her pawrents to give her back rubs — and they don’t stop until she’s fully satisfied.

 


The Poop Bag That Started It All

 

Here’s a Peony Celeste origin story moment you may not know:


Wrigley… poops.

A lot.

So much so that Misa started feeling deeply guilty about how many plastic bags were being used on every walk. That guilt — paired with love, responsibility, and intention — became the seed that grew into Peony Celeste.

What started as a desire to do better for one dog became a mission to create thoughtfully made essentials for pups and their people — with sustainability, care, and community at the center.

We’re so excited to share that Peony Celeste is sponsoring Dogs Only Thursdays at Dogs Only Social Club — a quarterly gathering designed to bring dog parents together in a safe, intentional, and dog-friendly environment.


Each quarter, Benny Boy Brewing opens its garden space to transform it into a Dogs Only Social Club hangout — a place where responsible dog handling, positive energy, and genuine connections are always on tap.

What to expect at Dogs Only Thursdays

  • 🛋️ A dedicated Dogs Only Social Club space to mingle with fellow dog parents and their pups

  • 🌱 A Fresh Patch potty station + Peony Celeste eco-poop bag sample giveaways

  • 🐾 Intentional, on-leash socialization in a relaxed and welcoming setting

  • 🛍️ Dogs Only Social Club merch, with proceeds supporting Baldwin Park Animal Care Center
