Mochi

Mochi is a one-year-old miniature white Schnauzer with a sweet, loving, and delightfully loud personality. Her mom, Jasmin, shares what people notice first about her gentle pup, a favorite bedtime memory, and why quality and supporting woman-owned small businesses matter so much to her.

Can you introduce us to Mochi and tell us a little about her personality? What’s something people notice first when they meet her?
Mochi is a 1-year-old miniature white Schnauzer with a sweet, loving, and loud personality! When people first meet her, they notice how gentle and friendly she is. If she likes you, she will lick your face!

What’s one of your favorite memories with Mochi that always makes you smile?
I have so many favorite memories with Mochi that make me smile just thinking about them. One of my favorites is at night when she’s ready to sleep—she just plops on the bed right next to me and on my leg. It always makes me happy knowing she feels comfortable right by my side.

If Mochi could describe you in three words, what do you think she’d say, and why?
If Mochi could describe me in three words, it would be treat dealer, mamager, and her protector. She loves her treats and always waits for one after our walkies. Of course I’m her mamager—posting all her pictures on Instagram and setting up playdates with her furiends. And I think she sees me as her protector because she always finds me for comfort or love. I can’t walk away without her because she stays right by my side. I hope in every lifetime she thinks of me as her protector and her safe space.

As a dog mom, what do you look for when choosing products for Mochi, and why is quality important to you?
As a dog mom, I always look for products that will benefit her, keep her healthy, keep her looking adorable, and—most importantly—ones she will actually enjoy, especially since she has a sensitive stomach. Quality is very important to me because who doesn’t want the best and longest-lasting products for their dog?

What inspires you to support woman-owned small businesses like Peony Celeste, and what does shopping small mean to you?
I love supporting woman-owned small businesses, especially Peony Celeste. Having the best, most durable poop bags (and other products) is something I look for. As a woman-owned small business owner myself (@mochisbarkery_ on Instagram), I believe supporting strong, independent, creative women is one of the best things you can do. We need to show the love—shop small!

More Than a Portrait

I’m honored to create studio portraits for the dogs who have become the heart of our community. Each portrait celebrates their unique personality, love, and joy. These photographs are more than keepsakes—they’re a tribute to the bond that inspired Peony Celeste from the very beginning, and memories families can treasure for years to come.

Every ambassador has a story worth following. If you’d like to see more of Mochi's journey, visit lamochidelbc_ on Instagram and say hello from the Peony Celeste family.

The Ambassador Portrait Project

This little project is my way of saying thank you to our incredible brand ambassadors and the humans who love them.

Every dog has a story. Some have helped their families through life’s hardest moments. Others have inspired new adventures, brought laughter back into a home, or simply made every day brighter. Those stories are the heart of Peony Celeste.

When I photograph your dog, I do my best to capture more than just how they look. I hope to preserve their personality, their spirit, and the little expressions that make them uniquely yours.

I truly believe these portraits are one of the most meaningful gifts I can give to our ambassadors. It’s my way of celebrating the bond you share and thanking you for being part of this community.

I feel incredibly grateful for every dog and every family I’ve had the privilege to photograph, and I can’t wait to create many more memories together.
