Bolt
We’re so happy to introduce Rachel and her service dog, Bolt — a beautiful white German Shepherd who’s been by her side since December 2021. Together they explore Los Angeles, share service dog education, travel, theme parks, and everyday adventures. Rachel shared a few special moments from their journey and why she trusts Peony Celeste.
Can you introduce yourself and your pup Bolt, and tell us how the two of you met?
I’m Rachel, and Bolt is a white German Shepherd who is my service dog. I brought him home in December 2021, and we’ve pretty much been inseparable ever since! Together, we share our everyday adventures around Los Angeles, service dog education, travel, theme parks, training, and all the fun that comes with navigating life. Bolt goes on so many adventures with me, and I love getting to share both the fun moments and the educational side of our life together through our page.
What’s been one of the most special or heartfelt moments you’ve experienced while bonding with Bolt?
It’s really hard to choose just one because Bolt and I have experienced so much together. I think some of the most meaningful moments are actually the really small ones — when he recognizes that I need him before I even ask. Watching our relationship grow from me training this little puppy into him becoming my service dog and learning how to read me so incredibly well has been really special.
As a large dog, what makes you trust Peony Celeste poop bags — and have you noticed any difference in strength or reliability compared to other bags?
As a large dog owner, I definitely need a poop bag that can handle some pretty large bathroom visits! One of the first things I noticed about Peony Celeste bags was how soft they feel. They have such a nice texture compared to a lot of other bags I’ve used, while still feeling really strong and reliable. I love that I don’t have to sacrifice that soft, high-quality feel for durability — especially when picking up after a German Shepherd!
What values made you want to represent Peony Celeste?
I really love supporting and working with local Southern California businesses. As someone in a creative industry, I know how much goes into building something from the ground up. I love supporting local businesses and introducing my community to brands they may not have discovered otherwise.
Why is supporting woman-owned and small local businesses important to you?
Supporting woman-owned and small local businesses is important to me because I know the heart, time, and effort it takes to build something of your own. Choosing to support brands that are doing the work with genuine care helps those businesses grow — and I’m always happy to share them with my community.

When I photograph your dog, I do my best to capture more than just how they look. I hope to preserve their personality, their spirit, and the little expressions that make them uniquely yours.
I truly believe these portraits are one of the most meaningful gifts I can give to our ambassadors. It’s my way of celebrating the bond you share and thanking you for being part of this community.
